The Ottoman and - Piano Man?

How did April arrive so quickly?  I've been remiss in blogging recently - here's a quick catch-up:

 We bought a soft ottoman to replace our glass coffee table, and Kellan loves standing next to it and hititng the top like a drum (plus, he always looks so proud to be on his feet)

Is this a picture of a maestro in the making? Hm...

 Look at the perfect finger placement and serious gaze...

He has yet to master pulling himself to a standing position, but he's starting to use props to help him lift his torso (such as the red block box below) 

As an aside, Kellan had been cold-free for a few weeks, until a recent cough and runny nose that's been keeping him (and us) up at night.  Poor fella!  We hope the cough goes away soon.  Any good thoughts and/or prayers you can send his way are much appreciated!

In the Crib, the Peaceful Crib, Baby Kellan Sleeps Tonight

We've found a "secret" to getting Kellan to go to sleep.  Put a blanket near his face so he can pull it up over his head.  So many times we've seen this on the monitor:

He's kind of cute as a mummy, hm?

Happy St Patrick's Day and Other Photos

We dressed Kellan from head to toe in GREEN for St Patrick's Day - and he thanked us by standing near the couch for awhile, then holding the "crawling pose" (which he's able to do, but then just collapses when it's time to move).

Quite awhile ago, Great Aunt Bun bought Kellan a "toolbox" filled with stuffed tools... 

Did I hear someone say they need help fixing something?

I'll get right on it!  I've got my drill right here...

THIS is a screwdriver.  It's very handy.

Beautiful Days

On a recent visit to see (Aunt) Justyn, (Uncle) Ian, and (Cousins) Finley and Thatcher, we saw Phyllis!  Phyllis is Ian's mom.  She lives on the East Coast, so we don't get to see her often, but love it when we do!  Can't wait to see Herm when he's in town in a few weeks...
